VAN VAN Ritual Oil

Cleanse • Protect • Change Your Luck

Clear away stagnant energy and invite a change of fortune with 7 Stars Candle Co. Van Van Ritual Oil, an intention-based spiritual oil inspired by the long tradition of Van Van preparations associated with cleansing, protection, good luck, and turning unfavorable circumstances in a more positive direction.

Van Van is one of the classic multipurpose formulas associated with Louisiana conjure traditions. Its character is traditionally connected to lemongrass, giving Van Van its distinctive cleansing and refreshing identity.

This oil is ideal for spiritual work when you want to clear away lingering negativity, refresh the energy surrounding you, protect your path, and invite better luck and new possibilities.

Suggested Ritual Uses

Dress yellow, green, or white candles with a small amount of oil; anoint petitions for good fortune and positive change; incorporate it into cleansing and luck rituals; dress symbolic keys, charms, altar objects, or ritual tools; or use it after spiritual cleansing to establish the intention of beginning again with refreshed energy.

Van Van can also be paired with Road Opener Oil when your intention is to clear away stagnant energy before opening new pathways and opportunities.

A simple petition might focus on: “I release what has hindered my path. My energy is renewed, my way is protected, and my fortune changes in my favor.”

For candle work, apply only a small amount of oil before lighting and keep excess oil, herbs, and other combustible materials away from the flame and wick.
